Pakistan on Wednesday (April 3) summoned Indian Deputy High Commissioner Gaurav Ahluwalia at Foreign Office and condemned the unprovoked ceasefire violations by the Indian troops along the Line of Control in last two days.
Pakistan’s foreign office spokesperson and Director General South Asia Dr. Mohammad Faisal. said that in ongoing week , four innocent civilians namely Muhammad Yousaf, Muhammad Shahzad, Mrs. Akbar Jaan and Mrs. Kousar Parveen were injured in Nezapir, Rakhchikri, Tattapani and Jandrot Sectors along LOC.
Similarly, an innocent teen Muhammad Attique was martyred and three women namely Fareeda Begum, Azmat Begum and Rehmat Bibi sustained injuries in Kotkottera and Khuiratta Sectors. On the same day, Indian troops intentionally targeted innocent civilians travelling in a civil bus in Bagsar Sector, which is not only a clear violation of existing arrangement but also unethical and immoral.
He said this unprecedented escalation in ceasefire violations by India is continuing from 2017 when the Indian forces committed 1970 ceasefire violations adding that ceasefire violations by India are a threat to regional peace and security and may lead to a strategic miscalculation.
