According to the sources, The sniffer doges deployed to detect corona positive passengers detects 24 inbound travelers infected with COVID-19 upon their arrival at Peshawar’s Bacha Khan International Airport.
As per to details, At least 128 travelers landed at the Peshawar airport on board a Pakistan International Airlines flight (PIA), PK-218.
The airport authorities said that their samples were taken for a coronavirus test, after which 24 of the travelers were found to be carrying the deadly coronavirus.
The sources further added that the corona positive passengers staged a protest and refused to be isolate.
The airport authority said that subsequently, the officials called in police, local authorities and an ambulance to help enforce the safety protocols.
It must be noted that on June 2, 26 passengers had tested positive for coronavirus at the Bacha Khan International Airport.
Airport officials said that the trained dogs deployed at the Peshawar airport detected the corona-infected passengers.
The passengers flew in through 6 flights, The coronavirus positive travelers were handed over to the district administration.
