Bank of Punjab CEO Zafar Masud miraculously survived with minor injuries after a Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) plane crashed Friday in a residential area near Jinnah International Airport.
Zafar Masud was among the 98 persons traveling in Karachi-bound PIA flight PK-8303 from Lahore. He was then shifted to the Darul Sehat Hospital and is reportedly out of danger. He spoke to his mother on the phone and informed her about his health.
According to the Darul Sehat Hospital’s administration, Masud has sustained fractures to his hip and collar bones, adding that there were no burn marks on his body, only scratches. Masud’s brother is with him in the hospital.
