Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) revenue has surged by 41 percent during last six months, said Air Marshal Arshad Malik.
While speaking to traders at Korangi Association, Mr. Arshad Mehmood said that PIA will have three to four new airplanes by next year. He added that he is aware of traders’ issues regarding cargo and PIA will have special ticketing counter designated for traders.
The CEO said that traders will get a five to seven percent discount on domestic and international flights.
On the occasion, the Korangi Association also signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the PIA.
Despite efforts to improve PIA, much is still needed to be done, said committee’s acting chief, S.M Munir.
