Imran Khan, Prime Minister of Pakistan talking to a delegation of China Power Hub Generation Company led by its CEO Zhao Yonggang in Islamabad, reiterated his commitment to providing all possible facilities to investors for the establishment of profitable business ventures in Pakistan.
Prime Minister Imran Khan said the new energy policy of government focuses on promoting alternative and renewable sources of energy. He also encouraged the Chinese company to set up a waste-to-energy power plant in Pakistan.
He appreciated China’s support for important projects contributing to Pakistan’s economic stability.
On this occasion, the President and CEO of China Power Hub Generation Company informed the Prime Minister of the progress made so far in a major project of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor to install a power station 1320 megawatts at Hub, in Balochistan.
The CEO of the Chinese company acknowledged the facilitation provided by the current government that led to the timely commissioning of the project.
