Prime Minister Imran Khan on Thursday met with Saudi crown prince and defence minister Muhammad Bin Salman during his two-day visit to the Kingdom.
According to the PMO statement, Prime Minister Imran also briefed King Salman on the current situation in occupied Kashmir. “King Salman reiterated the Kingdom’s solidarity and long-held support on the Kashmir issue,” said the statement.
Prime Minister Imran Khan and Saudi crown prince Muhammad Bin Salman discussed issues to bilateral interests and the current situation in Kashmir was also came under the discussion. Prime Minister has strongly condemned the recent attacks on Saudi oil fields.
The PM is accompanied by the first lady and an 11-member delegation that includes Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi and Adviser on Finance Abdul Hafeez Shaikh.
Prime Minister Imran Khan and Saudi King Khadim ul Harmain Shareefain Salman bin Abdulaziz also hold meeting in Saudi Arabia and exchanged views on bilateral relations, regional and global political situation.
During the meeting, the Prime Minister apprised the Saudi King about the latest situation of Occupied Kashmir. The Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz reiterated its support and solidarity with Pakistan over Kashmir issue. The prime minister also condemned attack on the kingdom’s oil facilities. He reiterated to stand with the Saudi Arabia in case of any threat to the security and sanctity of Haramain Sharifain.
