The Prime Minister Imran Khan will address the nation today and the government will requisition a session of the National Assembly on Saturday for the prime minister to seek a vote of confidence from the parliament.
Shibli Faraz, The federal Information Minister said that “The session of National Assembly has been called for Saturday afternoon,”

Sadiq Sanjrani will be our candidate for the Senate chairman post again, keeping in mind his performance over the past two to three years,” Shibli Faraz said.
According to the sources, The Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa called on Prime Minister Imran Khan in Islamabad at the Prime Minister’s office.
As per details, The Director-General Inter-Services Intelligence Lt. Gen. Faiz Hamid was also present in the meeting.
The sources said that COAS Bajwa and PM Imran Khan discussed Senate Election and matters pertaining to national security were discussed during the meeting.
