Prime Minister Imran Khan in a telephonic conversation with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz has discussed latest developments in Occupied Kashmir.
According to Saudi News Agency, SPA both the leaders discussed the development of the situation in the region and efforts exerted towards it. A day earlier, Imran Khan also telephoned Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Malaysian counterpart Mahathir Bin Mohamad to discuss current Kashmir situation.
Khan also called Malaysian Prime Minister Dr. Mahathir bin Mohamad who said India’s announcement was a clear violation of UNSC resolutions. Like Khan, Mahathir said the move would deteriorate peace and security in the region and would further undermine relations between two neighbors with strategic capabilities.
India’s government revoked the special status of occupied Kashmir and rushed through a presidential decree in a bid to fully integrate its only Muslim-majority region with the rest of the country, hours after imposing a major security clampdown in the region.
