Prime Minister Imran Khan has conveyed his manifested utter grief and sorrow over the loss of precious lives in Rawalpindi aircraft crash. In his statement issued from PM House, Premier Imran Khan condoled with the bereaved families and prayed for early recovery of the wounded.
At least 19 people were killed and 12 others were wounded when an Army Aviation plane crashed into a residential area near Rabi Plaza in the jurisdiction of Rawat Police Station in the wee hours of Tuesday.
According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the plane was on it routine flight when it crashed near Rabi Plaza. Two pilots and three crew members of the plane were among the dead. Corps Commander Rawalpindi Lieutenant General Bilal Akbar visited the site of the plane crash where he was briefed by Pakistan Army officers on the mishap.
