Prime Minister Imran Khan is expected to attend the 14th session of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Summit in Makkah on May 31, chaired by King Salman. The summit, according to the Saudi Press Agency, is titled “Makkah Summit: Together for the Future” and aims to develop a unified stance on events in the Islamic world.
Governor Tabuk Prince Fahd bin Sultan Al Saud telephoned Prime Minister Imran Khan on Thursday to convey greetings of the blessed month of Ramazan. He said he looks forward to Prime Minister’s upcoming visit to Saudi Arabia to attend OIC Summit scheduled to be held on 31st of this month.
The Prime Minister reciprocated the greetings and thanked for the generous support of Saudi Arabia to Pakistan at this difficult time. He also confirmed his participation to the forthcoming OIC Summit in Makkah. It is also expected that Khan will use the forum to highlight continuing Israeli aggression in Palestine, and recent developments in Pakistan’s relationship with India.
