The PML-N spokesperson Marriyam Aurangzeb said that Leader of Opposition in the National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif has once again tested positive for the COVID-19.
As per details, Marriyam Aurangzeb said that the president of PML-N was quarantining himself at his residence.
The spokesperson of PML-N said that doctors have advised Shehbaz complete rest, urging people, including party workers and leaders, to pray for his swift recovery.
It must be noted that in June 2020, the PML-N president and the Leader of Opposition in the National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif had tested positive for the COVID-19.
Shehbaz Sharif is the latest among several politicians who have tested positive for the infection during the 5th wave of the COVID-19 pandemic fueled by the Omicron variant of the coronavirus.
Earlier on January 13, The Federal Education Minister Shafqat Mahmood announced to have tested coronavirus positive, Before him, President Arif Alvi tested positive for coronavirus for a second time.
