Police have arrested at least 12 Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) workers, outside the accountability court ahead of party vice president Maryam Nawaz’s appearance in a case related to fake trust deed in Avenfield reference.
PML-N spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb has strongly condemned the arrest of party supporters and workers. Marriyum Aurangzeb is accompanying party Vice President Maryam Nawaz as the letter has embarked for Islamabad where she will appear before an Accountability Court.
Decrying the arrests, Marriyum lashed out at incumbent Prime Minister Imran Khan and PTI-led government. “Mr Imran seems to be going through phobia of Nawaz Sharif, Shehbaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz. Imran Khan must not have slept an entire night while pondering that Maryam has to appear before the court. The entire government must be shivering with fear”, Marriyum Aurangzeb said.
