The Sindh High Court (SHC) on Tuesday (June 25) granted Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader and former Sindh minister Sharjeel Memon post arrest bail in a case pertaining to Rs5.76 billion corruption in the Sindh information and archives department.
A two-judge bench comprising Justice KK Agha and Justice Omar Sial approved the bail of the PPP leader against a surety bond of Rs5 million.
PPP leader among 17 accused persons have been facing trial in an accountability court. According to details, 13 accused persons including former secretary information Dr Zulfiqar Ali Shalwani have been arrested for further investigation into the case.
