Multan Sultans outclassed Quetta Gladiators for 73 runs to win the 25th match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 6 by 110 runs.
Sultan’s Imran Tahir picked 3 wickets, Imran Khan bagged 2 wickets while Sohail Tanvir, Blessing Muzarabani, and Shahnawaz Dhani shared a wicket apiece.
While batting first, Shan Masood and Mohammad Rizwan provided a strong 72 runs start to Sultans. Khurram Shahzad removed Rizwan in the 9th over after the right-handed batter scored 21 runs with the help of a boundary.
Multan Sultan’s Shan Masood struck 73 runs to set the tone for his team to score 183-5 in 20 overs.
For Quetta Gladiators, Jake Weatherald was the highest run-scorer from Gladiators with 19 runs, Skipper Sarfaraz Ahmed scored 13 runs.
Khurram picked 2 wickets whilst Mohammad Nawaz, Hassan Khan and Zahir Khan took a wicket each.
Quetta Gladiators with this defeat are now out of the Pakistan Supper League (PSL) 6 playoffs race.
