PSL-7: Peshawar Zalmi Defeated Quetta Gladiators by 5 Wickets

In the second match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), The Peshawar Zalmi’s skipper Shoaib Malik led from the front to guide his side to a thrilling victory over Quetta Gladiators.

As per details, The Peshawar Zalmi chased down a target of 191, Shoaib’s magnificent 4th-wicket partnership with Hussain Talat anchored the run-chase for the side, The pair added an 81-runs partnership and put their side onto the driving seat despite an average start.

Shoaib Malik remained unbeaten with his magnificent 48 off 32 deliveries, laced with one boundary and 4 sixes, while Hussain Talat top-scored for the side; scoring a magnificent half-century, He scored 52 off just 29 deliveries; smoking 5 boundaries and 2 sixes.

On the other hand Yasir Khan, scored a quickfire 30 off only 12 balls, smashing 4 boundaries and 2 sixes.

For the Quetta Gladiators, Muhammad Nawaz starred with the ball; taking 3 wickets, while Naseem Shah and James Faulkner struck out a batter each.

While batting first, The Quetta Gladiators set a decent 191-runs target for the Peshawar Zalmi, Right-handed opener Smeed carried his bat till the last ball of the innings; scoring a outstanding 97 off just 62 deliveries.

Smeed missed his century by just 3 runs, looked to pull the last ball of the innings out of the park but failed to do so, He smashed 11 boundaries and 4 sixes in the course of his outstanding innings.
