In the 4th edition of Pakistan Super League at Sharjah, Colin Ingram with his heroic performance lead Karachi kings to tremendous victory against Quetta Gladiators, Sunday (Feb 24). Ingram became the first overseas player to score a century in the Pakistan Super League. The top-order batsman hit 12 fours, and as many as eight sixes at a strike rate of 215.25.
Batting first Quetta Gladiators posted 186-5 courtesy of Umar Akmal and Anwar Ali.Shane Watson and Rilee Rossouw put on 47 runs on the third wicket while Rilee Rossouw and Umar Akmal went on to score a 63-run stand.
In reply, the Kings had a disastrous start as the side were reeling at 4-2 at one stage. However, Awais Zia and Colin Ingram put on 50 runs on the third wicket to steady the side.
Today is a rest day in the league.
