Peshawar Zalmi on Monday (March 11) won the 30th match of Pakistan Super League season 4 (PSL 4) against Karachi Kings by 61 runs at National Stadium. Karachi Kings have won the toss and elected to field first against Peshawar Zalmi. Mohammad Aamir has made a return in the team in place of Aamer Yamin.
Peshawar Zalmi set 204-run target for Karachi Kings. Kamran Akmal’s Still 86 off 48 is a pretty good innings for an opening batsman in T20s and with Imam also chipping in with a fifty, Peshawar have a 200-plus total on board and a pretty cool bowling attack to defend it.
Kings were all out for 142 in 16.2 overs, in their 204 run-chase. Colin Ingram offered some resistance with his 71 off 37 balls, including seven boundaries and four sixes. Soon after his departure, Kings lost their chasing streak.
