While talking to the journalists, The Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and former Prime Minister Imran Khan has announced to contest by-elections from all 9 seats, vacated after the National Assembly speaker accepted PTI MNAs’ resignation.
As per details, The ECP issued the schedule of the by-elections on the 9 National Assembly seats would be contested on September 25.
The PTI Chief during a meeting with senior journalists announced to contest elections from all 9 constituencies of NA by himself, He said in the meeting that elections would be held this year, government parties want to single him out.
He also said that ‘Would fight against the rulers at every platform,” added that the government alliance’s plans to disqualify him would never be completed.
The former Prime Minister Imran Khan said that he made 2 major mistakes in his political career, added that he cannot share the first one, but the second one was appointing Sikandar Sultan Raja as the Chief of ECP.
The PTI Chairman said that 2 foreign countries offered him funding in the past but he refused, added that leaders with popular support can not be eradicated.
It must be noted that the government accepted the resignations of 11 PTI MNAs including Shireen Mazari, Ali Muhammad Khan, Ijaz Shah, Farrukh Habib, Shandana Gulzar, Fazal Muhammad, Fakhar Zaman, Abdul Shakoor Shad, Jameel Ahmed and Akram Cheema.
