Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar on Wednesday, in a high-level meeting in his office, said the Punjab government, led by PTI, did not believe in fictional rhetoric and would take concrete action to relief the masses.
Criticizing the PML-N government, the chief minister said that billions of rupees were wasted on exhibition projects. He said that the current government was trying to provide the necessary facilities for the people.
CM Buzdar ordered the department in question to remain alert to the expected rain and the threat of flooding. He also ordered to eliminate invasions and take all possible measures to combat possible floods.
During the meeting, CM Buzdar reviewed the performance of the Primary and Secondary Health, Specialized Health and Medical Education, Board of Revenue, Punjab Land Record Authority, PDMA, Industries, and Agriculture departments.
In addition, he indicated that a modern weather radar worth 737 million rupees would be installed in Sialkot and that the operational capacity of the PDMA would be improved.
