Prime Minister Imran Khan on Friday (May 24) while talking to the delegation of allies parties of PTI in Karachi, once again made it clear that his party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is against carving out an other province in Sindh.
The Prime Minister said after the introduction of PTI’s local bodies system there will be no need of any division. Political and over all situation of Sindh, federally funded developmental projects in Sindh province and issues of allies were also discussed during the meeting.
Opposition leader in Sindh Assembly Firdous Shamim Naqvi, Khurram Sher Zaman, Haleem Adil Shaikh, Faisal Vawda, Ashraf Qureshi, Arbab Ghulam Raheem, Nand Kumar,Nusrat Sahar Abassi, Saddaruddin Shah Rashidi and others were also present on the occasion.
During his interaction with participants of different meetings, he blamed previous governments for the current economic crisis for which he “cannot spare the thieves” and termed the members of his recently-appointed economic team “experts”. At the same time, the prime minister “requested” the business fraternity to benefit from the amnesty scheme.
