Turkish Foreign Minister, Mevlüt Çavusoglu, while talking to Pkaistan’s foreign miniter Shah Mehmood Qureshi, who called the Turkish Foreign Minister, expressed complete understanding of Pakistan’s position and said that Turkey rejected Indian accusations against Pakistan in the wake of Pulwama attack.
Turkish FM underscored the need for dialogue between India and Pakistan to resolve all outstanding issues, adding that Kashmir issue needs to be resolved through dialogue and in accordance with the relevant UN Security Council resolutions. Briefing the Turkish Foreign Minister on the situation emerged after the Pulwama incident, Shah Mehmood Qureshi said Pakistan has asked India to share any actionable information if it have enabling Pakistan to help in the investigation.
The Foreign Minister appreciated Turkey’s understanding of Pakistan’s position on different issues and its continued support. The Turkish Foreign Minister also conveyed that President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will visit Pakistan after the local elections in Turkey.
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has threatened Pakistan for terror attack on Pulwama and said “those behind the terrorist attack in Pulwama will have to pay a “heavy price” adding that “India will give a strong reply for Kashmir attack”.
“The terrorists…they have made a big mistake. You will have to pay a very heavy price…I assure everyone that the forces behind the attack…we will bring them to justice,” PM Modi said in an address in Delhi after chairing a top level security meeting with senior ministers. At least 44 Indian paramilitary police have been killed and dozens injured in a bomb blast on Srinagar-Jammu highway in Awantipora area of Pulwama district, Occupied Kashmir.
