The Punjab Examination Commission (PEC) has announced the schedule of examinations for grades 1 to 8th in 13 districts of the Punjab, A notification issued in this regard.
As per to the notification said that the commission reviewed the schedule of the conduct of School Based Assessment (SBA) in the wake of the decision of the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) to close academic institutions in coronavirus affected districts of Punjab.
The exams for grade 1 to 8th will start from June 7 and continue until June 25 whereas schools will begin issuing report cards from June 30, More than 5 million students of classes 1 to 8 will sit the exams in Punjab.
The examination commission further added that the summer vacations will start from July 1, and directed for strict implementation of the SOPs during the conduct of the exams.
