At least two people were killed and 23 others were injured in a blast in Quetta on Tuesday (July 23). According to initial reports, the blast occurred at Eastern By-pass New Baloch Colony outside the Zaghon Medical. Sources said that the blast was placed in a motorbike.
Quetta DIG Abdul Razzaq Cheema confirmed the incident and said that unknown miscreants had planted the explosive device in a motorcycle and parked it outside a medical store.
The MS civil hospital said that injured were brought to hospital Quetta and an emergency was declared in the hospital.
He further said that the identification of the deceased being done. Razzaq Cheema said that two victims of the blast succumbed to their injuries on their way to the hospital. He added that all the injured were civilians.
