At least eighteen people were killed and more 67 injured when Quetta bound Akbar Express collided with a goods train at Walhar near Sadiqabad on Thursday (July 11) morning.
The engine of the passenger train got completely destroyed after it hit a freight train at Dulhar railway station. Getting the information, rescue teams reached the spot and carrying out the relief and rescue work. Following the accident up and down track, railway traffic is suspended.
PM, Railways Minister Express Deep Grief
Prime Minister Imran Khan has expressed deep grief and sorrow over the loss of precious lives in the train accident near Sadiqabad. In his message, the Prime Minister directed to provide best possible medical treatment to the injured.
Railways Minister Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed has expressed deep grief and sorrow over the loss of precious lives in the accident. He also ordered investigation into the incident.
