After concluding successful visit to Pakistan, Saudi Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman – returned to Saudi Arabia and after spending a few hours back home, he, along with high level delegation reached India on Tuesday (Feb 19) where he was personally received by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
During his two-day long visit MbS expected to focus on deepening strategic partnership between the two countries and deliver a strong message on terrorism. “India is delighted to welcome HRH Mohammed Bin Salman, the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia,” PM Modi tweeted soon after. The foreign ministry later called the visit – the Crown Prince’s first bilateral visit – a “new chapter” in bilateral relations between the two countries.

Earlier Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman, accompanied by high level delegations including royal family and leading businessmen arrived in Pakistan on Saturday ( Feb 17) for his two-day official historic visit. Upon the arrival in Islamabad he received warm welcome by Prime Minister Imran Khan and Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa. When he entered in Pakistan’s territory, a formation of JF-17 thunder jets and F-16 fighter jets escorted the plane of the crown prince and he was given crown prince was given a 21-gun salute. The visiting guest inspected the Guard of Honor.
