Another Pakistani soldier sacrificed his life while protecting motherland from enemies, in unprovoked Indian firing along the Line of Control (LoC), the Inter-Services Public Relations said on Thursday.
“Sepoy Zaheer Ahmed embraced shahadat in Thub Sector of LOC due to Indian unprovoked firing. Shaheed soldier belongs to Village Sultan Pur, Tehsil and District Bhimber. He is survived by a widow. Pakistan Army troops retaliated effectively and engaged enemy’s posts involved in unprovoked firing”, the statement read.
A day ealier, The 25-years old, Pakistan Army captain Zarghaam Fareed, embraced martyrdom while neutralising an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) in Mohmand District, military spokesman Major General Asif Ghafoor said on Wednesday. While another soldier Rehan of the bomb disposal squad was critically injured in the explosion.
