The 276th Urs of famous Sufi saint and poet Hazrat Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai began at Bhit Shah in Matiari district on Monday (Oct 14). Governor of Sindh Imran Ismail inaugurated the three days Urs celebrations while laying floral wreath at the shrine of great sufi saint of Pakistan.
On the occasion he said that, Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai, had given the message of love, peace and interfaith harmony. Later, he distributed clothes and presents among the poor women. Tens of thousands devotees have started reaching Bhitshah Town of Matiari district to pay homage to great sufi saint and poet Hazrat Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai.
The Bhitshah Town has been decorated with colourful bunties while makeshift shops have also been established in the town where the devotees who came from all over Sindh and other parts of the country are busy in shopping of traditional garlands, rings with gems, caps, ajraks, dry fruits and locally made sweets.
