Hussain Nawaz, son of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Monday (Dec 9) while speaking to the journalists hinted that they will approach the Court for extension in ailing former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s bail. Dr. Adnan, personal physician of former premier and his son Hussain Nawaz announced to submit the medical reports in the court within three days.
“It is difficult to give any deadline for improvement in Nawaz’s current health condition,” he said adding that the doctors were still in initial phase to access causes of medical issues faced by the former premier.
Speaking to the journalists, Dr. Adnan said that Nawaz Sharif is undergoing treatment by experts in the best hospitals of London. He informed that they are considering other medical tests including bone marrow test of Nawaz Sharif. He said that more than 80% of the arteries that supply blood to Nawaz’s brain are closed. He expressed that there could be several reasons for platelets being low.
Meanwhile, Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb said that 88 per cent artery of former premier Nawaz Sharif which supplies blood to the brain was blocked. In a statement, the PML-N spokesperson said that the doctors have advised Nawaz Sharif to receive medical treatment in the US. She added that doctors said the medical complications could give severe results to the PML-N quid.
