Minister for Railways Sheikh Rashid Ahmad expressed the fear that Modi can attack Kashmir by following the footprint of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) but India should aware its action will get backlash. Addressing a joint session of the parliament, Railways minister said that India has shut all the doors of table talks and attempted to hammer the Muslims. The railway’s minister warned that if India attacked Pakistan ti would be replied aggressively.
He predicted that now India can attack Azad Kashmir, saying “I can foresee a war on borders within three to six months.” He further said the Indian action to revoke the independent status of Kashmir will spur a new spirit of freedom in Kashmiris.
He said the freedom movement will not remain limited to Kashmir only. Rather, it would expand to UP and CP areas of India as well. Sheikh Rashid Ahmad said perhaps history is going to take a decision which will write a new chapter in the freedom struggle of Kashmiris. India brought the pattern of Israel, the minister stated referring to the annexation of occupied Kashmir. “Modi created the same scenario as that of Israel [in Palestine].”
Earlier, Pakistan’s top civil and military leadership on Wednesday (August 7) decided to downgrade diplomatic relations and suspend bilateral trade with India in the aftermath of New Delhi’s illegal move of revoking Occupied Kashmir’s special status. The decision was taken at the meeting of National Security Committee (NSC) in Islamabad, with Prime Minister Imran Khan in the chair, said a statement issued by the PM Office.
