Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Sherry Rehman on November 11, stated that the health of former leader Asif Ali Zardari is getting worse with every passing day.
“The government is not allowing Zardari’s personal doctor to visit him”, Sherry Rehman said in a statement issued from Islamabad, on 11 November.
She said the PTI government is not forming a special private medical board to treat the former president and went to claim that even his medical reports are not being provided to anyone. She further stated that it was purposeful negligence on part of the government. The PPP leader stressed upon the government to immediately assemble a private medical board for Mr. Zardari’s treatment as advised by the government doctors.
Multiple other party members have been repeatedly asking the government to remove Zardari’s name from ECL, after the government decided to let the former prime minister and PML-N leader, Nawaz off the ECL list due to his degrading health.
