South Africa completed a series clean sweep with a 107-run win on the fourth day of the third and final Test at the Wanderers Stadium on Monday, completing a 3-0 clean sweep of the series. Following a fightback in the late hours of yesterday’s play, Pakistan stumbled in the daunting chase of 381 as the fourth day of the Test resumed.
Pakistan resumed batting on 153-3, but it was not long before Babar Azam was removed for 21 by Duanne Olivier in today’s first breakthrough for the Proteas. Skipper Sarfraz Ahmed was bowled on the next ball for a golden duck. An all too familiar collapse followed, as Asad Shafiq was dismissed after putting up a fighting 65.
