Supreme Court has directed the Punjab Government to come across with the submission of the final plan on 5th December 2018 over water treatment plants. This final plan is on the subject matter of Lahore unclean water and about the condition of River Ravi water that is much polluted.
Two Judge bench committee along with Chief Justice has been introduced in terms of handling the case regarding lack of treatment water plants.
Chief Justice has strictly ordered to submit the final plan to the further demonstration working on the plan ahead.
The Supreme Court on Saturday directed the province Punjab government to submit upon the final plan on installation of water treatment plants on the date of December 5.
Punjab Minister for Housing Mian Mahmoodur Rasheed made the appearance as in before a two-judge bench. This bench has been headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Mian Saqib Nisar as it heard a case at the sector of the Supreme Court’s Lahore Registry regarding the lack of water treatment plants. This is a strict step that has been taken by the side of the court bench trial.
The provincial minister for the side of housing informed the bench that they have bring about the formation of the committee. The committee is accountable for the installation of the water treatment plants and have also summoned a meeting on Tuesday again.
Over this statement, chief justice stated that they have just six-month experience in administrative matters. And we have been sitting here for the duration of past 21 years. The purpose for the sake of creating committees is to cause delays. It is the duty of the Minister to inform that when the implementation will be done. On this note Justice Nisar added, that the whole Lahore is drinking unclean water and also about the condition of the River Ravi is being polluted. On this response, Rasheed stated that we have been in the offices for long hours. On this statement, Justice Nisar asserted that whether you have been in office for 10 days or 20, they want implementation on the final report. Punjab Minister stated that they have been working day and night to implement court orders.
Justice Nisar directed the side of the provincial minister to submit upon with the final plan regarding installation of treatment plants on December 5. They added that if they find it important we will summon the provincial chief minister. They just have to bring the plan and come to Islamabad on Wednesday and the court will hear the case over there.
Over this court trial, it would not be wrong to conclude that Chief Justice has been playing an important role in improving the conditions of the nation. Right from the beginning of dam construction to the implementation of clean water treatment plants, all the steps are being taken by Chief Justice. Where is the new Government then?
