Taylor Swift is in trouble and she is reaching out to her fans seeking for some help. Months after she took to her Tumblr account to call out Scooter Braun and his company after his brand acquired her former music label, Big Machine Label Group, and deemed him a bully, the singer has taken to social media yet again to reveal that he and his partner Scott Borchetta are preventing her from performing her songs at the upcoming American Music Awards 2019.
The international singer took to her social media accounts to lament about her fight against Braun’s media holding company Ithaca Holdings LLC after she didn’t “know what else to do.” In a long post, Taylor elaborated on how the duo is stopping her from performing the music she has written and sang. She went on to reveal that the company has put across a few clauses under which she can use her perform her music.
“Guys – It’s been announced recently that the American Music Awards will be honoring me with the Artist of the Decade Award at this year’s ceremony. I’ve been planning to perform a medley of my hits throughout the decade on the show. Scott Borchetta and Scooter Braun have now said that I’m not allowed to perform my old songs on television because they claim that would be re-recording my music before I’m allowed to next year,” she began.
