We all vaguely remember the dim episode 3 of the Game of Thrones season 8.
The battle of Winterfell was shot in a way that portrayed the darkness of the night and the only source of light was the fire and the moon that lightened up the episode.
When asked about the dim lightening with the cinematographer of the series himself, he answered this question very simply.
The first thing that he mentioned was the screen setting of our iPads and phones aren’t up to the standards of the episode.
Moreover, the series isn’t supposed to be watched in small screens.
Lastly, he argued that the episode was not that much dim as he shot the entire episode himself.
The rest was how it was supposed to be to give the feeling of a ‘long night’ to the people watching the show.
I am a courteous, and adequately professional writer who knows how it's done.
