After major federal cabinet reshuffle, changes were expected in Punjab cabinet and rumors regarding Usman Buzdar’s removal were circulating. But Prime Minister Imran Khan on Wednesday (May 1) while speaking at the party’s foundation day event laid all rumors regarding Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar’s removal to rest and said that the time will prove he was the best choice for the post.
While talking about giving NRO to the opposition he said “let them do whatever they can I won’t give them NRO. Nawaz Sharif has asked to travel abroad for treatment. Isn’t it then the right of every other prisoners to go abroad for treatment.” In Naya Pakistan law is same is everyone, the premier said.
PM Imran said that former Punjab chief minister Shehbaz Sharif left Punjab in debt of Rs1100 billion. “They have then the audacity to daily sit on TV with their weird faces and accuse PTI of bad governance.” He said that its a shame that when Nawaz came in power he made 11 new companies but didn’t build a single quality hospital where he could have been treated today.
He congratulated Punjab government over the passage of local government Bill as it will devolve powers to the grass root level to ensure across the board development. Imran Khan said Chinese technology will be used to increase the per acre agriculture yield in Pakistan.
