Here is the list of most productive players of 2018, considering the goals recorded in all oppositions for both club and country wise.
Argentine and Barcelona’s No.10, Lionel Messi, topping the list with 47 total games and 44 total goals scored. When it comes to goal-scoring, nobody can argument the point that Messi has been the most prolific player in the world in 2018.
His extraordinary contender, Cristiano Ronaldo, of Juventus (former Club, Real Madrid) has scored one less, with 43 goals in total of 44 games. However CR7 fans will be quick to highlight that the Portuguese superstar has the some what higher strike rate.
Third on the list is unexpectedly, not-so-famous Brazilian Diogo, with same goals as Ronaldo i.e. 43 but in more number games; 51 games.
Bayern Munich forward Robert Lewandowski completed as the Bundesliga’s top goal-scorer last season, so it will come as no surprise to see him on number fourth, with 39 goals from 48 appearances.
Algeria’s Baghdad Bounedjah comes at fifth number with 38 goals in just 27 games. Luxembourg international Dave Turpel secures sixth place on list with 37 goals in 44 appearances.
Luis Suarez claims seventh position scoring 36 goals in 55 games just one goal ahead of Liverpool and Egypt sensation Mohamed Salah having 35 goals within 45 games. Whereas Atletico Madrid’s World Cup winner Antoine Griezmann comes at ninth number with same goals of 35 as of Salah in 45 games.
In the meantime, Ecuador’s Jhon Cifuente claims 10th place in the top 10 list leaving behind Russia’s 2018 Golden Boot winner Harry Kane, making him to have 11th place.
