A tribal Jirga has been constituted to ensure the maintenance of peace and stability in North Waziristan Tribal District. The nine-member Jirga is headed by the chief of Waziristan, Malik Nasrullah Khan.
In a statement in Peshawar, Adviser to Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on merged districts, Ajmal Wazir expressed the hope that the Jirga will utilize its energy for restoring last peace in the area.
The decision came after MNAs Mohsin Dawar and Ali Wazir have been accused by the ISPR of leading the group involved in the skirmish at the Kharqamar army check post in Boyya, North Waziristan last week.
