Babar Azam, The Pakistan national cricket team skipper feels proud to be named in the top 3 batsmen’s of world cricket because of the performances in all 3 formats of the game.
While sharing his thoughts on former captain Inzamam-ul-Haq’s YouTube channel Babar Azam said that he tries to learn as much as possible from New Zealand’s Kane Williamson and India’s Virat Kohli.
Babar said that “Feels proud to be compared with them and this gives me the confidence to do well for my country,”
He further added that “I try not to indulge in past performances and focus to do more just like Kane Williamson and Virat Kohli are doing for their team”
He said, I observe how they are producing match-winning performances constantly and think that I have to do the same for my team too,”
The skipper disclosed that he enjoys his cricket and does not catch away with past performances. “I don’t get satisfied with my performances. I don’t leave my regular work ethic. My routine is the same whether I scored hundred or 0,” Babar added.
