After successful visit of Saudi Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman, now Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will be visiting Pakistan next month, in March, Ankara’s consul-general in Karachi said Tuesday (Feb 19).
Speaking at an event here in the city, Consul-General Tolga Ucak said the Turkish leader will be announcing fresh investment in Pakistan during his visit next month, set to coincide with Pakistan Day. Ucak further mentioned that Turkey’s relations with Pakistan were very strong and the two countries have always stepped forward together.
Earlier Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman, accompanied by high level delegations including royal family and leading businessmen arrived in Pakistan on Saturday ( Feb 17) for his two-day official historic visit. Upon the arrival in Islamabad he received warm welcome by Prime Minister Imran Khan and Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa. When he entered in Pakistan’s territory, a formation of JF-17 thunder jets and F-16 fighter jets escorted the plane of the crown prince and he was given crown prince was given a 21-gun salute. The visiting guest inspected the Guard of Honor.
