U.S. and Turkish troops carried out their second joint ground patrolling along the Turkish-Syrian border in a planned security zone in northern Syria.
Last month, Washington and Ankara signed an agreement establishing a security zone between the Turkish border and the Syrian areas east of the Euphrates River and controlled by the Syrian Kurdish People’s Protection Units to facilitate the movement of refugees who want to return home.
The first joint patrols were conducted on September 8.
