The previous federal and provincial governments made tall claims about improving the education sector but if we take a deep analysis of overall situation and statistics of underprivileged children, then we can see only a black picture of previous governments’ efforts. In a recent development up to 200 underprivileged children from Pirwadhai have been enrolled in literacy schools.
During the ceremony in Government Model Elementary School Pirwadhai, the Rawalpindi Deputy Commissioner (DC) Muhammad Ali Randhawa ensured the basic needs required for education by distributing books, stationery, uniforms, school bags, fox packages and other packets consisting of essential items, amongst the children .
Randhawa said that they would enroll record out-of-school children during the current year and provide them with free education, books and food packages.
