The US dollar has recorded historically high against the Pakistani rupee in the interbank market, Breaks all time high record.
As per details, The Pakistani rupee continues to depreciate against the dollar.
The value of the US dollar after increase of 0.31 paisa today touched the all-time high against the Pakistani rupee and being traded at Rs.169.25, earlier the all-time highest was Rs168.95.
During the last 4 months, The value of the US dollar increased by Rs16.67.
It must be noted that yesterday, the trading of the US dollar in the inter-bank market closed at Rs168.94.
The foreign exchange dealers, experts and analysts have many reasons for the steep fall in the local currency value against the US dollar, but they said there was no intervention from the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) to stop this devaluation to bring stability.
