Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazal (JUI-F) have agreed on Azadi March. Final dates would be announced after recommendations of executive committee.
As per details, Shehbaz Sharif and Maulana Fazlur Rehman met in Lahore to discuss future of incumbent government. Both leaders decided to meet other opposition leaders in this regard.The participants of the meeting expressed grave concerns over the economic situation and the overall governance in the country. They termed the PTI government a threat to the state.
The PML-N delegation led by President Shehbaz Sharif included Raja Zafar ul Haq, Ahsan Iqbal, Ayaz Sadiq and Khurram Dastagir. Meanwhile, the JUI-F delegation led by party chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman included Akram Durrani and Maulana Amjad Mehmood.
Talking to media, JUI-F leader Akram Durrani said Azadi March is for 220 million people of Pakistan. He said final decision in this regard would be taken in a meeting of central committee. PML-N’s Ahsan Iqbal on this occasion said farmers and businessmen are worried and unemployment is rising in the country. He said government has become economic danger for public.
It’s worth mentioning here that Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has announced not to attend Jamiat Ulma-e-Islam Fazal (JUI-F) Maulana Fazal Ur Rehman sit-in going to be held next month in Islamabad adding that his party never been part of any sit-in politics.
