Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has congratulated the nation on declaration of Pakistan as the best holiday destination by the World Index.
In a statement, he said this ranking vindicates the international acknowledgement in Pakistan’s positive policies. Shah Mahmood Qureshi said on the one hand, travel advisories are being issued in connection with due to its brutal policies while on the other hand Pakistan is being declared the best place to visit.
He also paid tributes to the security forces and law enforcement agencies who rendered sacrifices to purge the country from the scourge of terrorism.
Earlier, world’s best travel magazines, Condè Nast, while highlighting Pakistan’s scenic and mesmerizing tourist attractions, listed Pakistan as top tourist destination for next year (2020). As per US Megazine, Pakistan has more peaks taller than 22,965 ft, as compared to China and Nepal combined, making it attractive spot for adventure travellers and hikers. The magazine said visitors can traverse the 12,250 ft Shandur Pass, home to the world’s highest polo field, or meet with Kalash people of Hindu Kush, famous for their cowrie-shell headdresses.
