YouTube has forbidden users from posting videos of unsafe pranks on its platform because of the negative aspects of these challenges that can put people’s lives in risk.
The US-based website that is owned by Google, restructured its guidelines and said it will not tolerate uploading of prank/challenge videos “that can cause death or have caused death in some instances,” adding up that they “have no place” on the site.
It cited examples like the Fire challenge, in which people drench themselves in flammable liquids and set themselves on fire.
