In the girls' U-16 final, Queen Mary ICSE (Grant Road) triumphed over St Anne’s (Malad) with a narrow 24-22 win in a thrilling match at Azad Maidan. Aastha Khamkar, the Queen Mary captain, was outstanding, contributing eight defensive tackles and five raids before being injured. Despite this setback, her efforts set the stage for the victory. When Queen Mary trailed 20-22, Aanya Jain stepped up, scoring four crucial points to secure the win. Queen Mary's coach, Nandini, was pleasantly surprised by the turnaround. "It was incredible to see how my team turned the match around in the final minutes," she shared.
In the boys' U-14 final, Swami Vivekanand (Chembur) defeated Dr Antonio Da Silva with a 53-35 score. In the girls' U-14 category, Babasaheb Ambedkar (Vikhroli) edged out Nanavati School (Vile Parle) with a close 25-21 victory.
