In an interview with The Guardian, the 33-year-old actor shared that he doesn’t allow negative comments or fan theories to affect him. Instead, he focuses on staying positive and grounded.

Joe emphasized that he has a strong support system of family and friends, which keeps him centered. “I have real things in my life, and those are the things that help keep me grounded,” he said.

He further explained his approach to handling public attention, saying that it's important to tune out the noise. "If you don’t, and let everything else influence you, it can change how you act, and you end up living from the outside in," he said. "That’s when things go wrong."

It's worth noting that Joe and Taylor Swift, who had kept their relationship private, were first rumored to have met in 2016. After dating for six years, they parted ways in early 2023.
