Zahan Kapoor Provides Health Update on Saif Ali Khan After His Surgeries

Zahan Kapoor, the cousin of actress Kareena Kapoor, provided an update on the health of Saif Ali Khan, confirming that the actor is recovering well after a recent incident. Saif had to undergo several surgeries after an intruder broke into his Mumbai home on Thursday and attacked him.

Speaking in an interview, Zahan assured that Saif is out of danger and on the mend. "I can’t comment on the details of the incident since not much is known yet, but what I can confirm is that he is safe and recovering well. He is completely out of danger, and for that, I am truly thankful. It’s been a shocking event," he shared.

Zahan, who is the grandson of the late Shashi Kapoor, expressed his relief at Saif's recovery. Meanwhile, Rahul Bhat, Zahan’s co-star from the Netflix show Black Warrant, also expressed concern for Saif, stating how deeply unsettling the incident was. "It’s terrifying to even think about. I can’t imagine the trauma he must have gone through. I pray for his strength and swift recovery," Rahul said.

The incident took place at Saif’s Bandra residence when an intruder broke in early Thursday morning. After a struggle, Saif was stabbed multiple times. He was quickly taken to Lilavati Hospital, where doctors successfully removed a piece of the broken knife that had lodged near his spine. Saif is now on the path to recovery.

Zahan Kapoor is currently receiving praise for his role in the new Netflix series Black Warrant. Based on the book Black Warrant: Confessions of a Tihar Jailer, the show tells the story of Sunil Gupta’s early experiences as a jailer at Tihar Prison. Zahan plays the role of Sunil, alongside co-stars Rahul Bhat, Paramvir Singh Cheema, and others. Black Warrant is streaming on Netflix.
